Kids’ MusicRound has developed quality assurance standards to ensure consistency and program integrity. Because the majority of our licensees are also instructors, these standards apply to both groups of individuals except as noted.
General
Individuals must be personally engaging, friendly and neat in appearance with exceptional energy and good communication skills. They must be strong vocally or play an instrument, preferably both. Prior experience working in early childhood is helpful. Individuals who are strong vocally and enthusiastic may be able to lead the class without playing an instrument. They must ascribe to the KMR philosophy. It is important that they are able to work independently and willing to go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for the families in the program.
Financial
Licensees should have sufficient financial capacity to effectively operate and market their centers. Strong centers benefit all KMR licensees by building a vibrant network of music programs.
